A field experiment was conducted during kharif season 2024 at Crop Research Farm, Department of Agronomy, Naini Agricultural Institute, Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Sciences and Technology. To determine “Effect of Sulphur and Spacing on Growth and Yield of Barnyard Millet”. The result revealed that Treatment - T3 (Sulphur 20 kg/ha + 25 cm x 25 cm) recorded significantly taller plant height (110.15 cm), higher plant dry weight (7.25 g), maximum number of tillers/running row meter (5.27) and yield attributing parameters higher ear head length (25.36 cm), and maximum number of grains/ear head (125.43), and higher seed yield (639.60 kg/ha), higher stover yield (1034.52 kg/ha) were recorded in Treatment - T3 (Sulphur 20 kg/ha + 25 cm x 25 cm), was found to be productive as well as economically feasible. Maximum gross return (INR 91,046.44/ha), net return (INR 60,151.44/ha) and B:C ratio (1.95) were also recorded in treatment 3 Sulphur (20 kg/ha) + 25 cm x 25 cm.
