Gangadhar Eswar Rao, Nagarjun P, Kushal, Lakshmipathi RN and Maruf Seddiqui

A field experiment was conducted during Kharif-2020 at Research Institute of Organic Farming field unit, UAS, GKVK, Bengaluru to study the Effect of different Source of Organic Phosphorus and PSB on Growth and Production of Soybean (Glycine max) laid out in Randomized Complete Block Design with 11 treatments replicated thrice and the variety used was JS-335. The growth and yield attributes were significantly varied with application of Phosphorus at 62.5kg ha-1 applied through vermicompost + PSB at 10 kg ha-1 recorded significantly higher plant height (55.13 cm), number of branches per plant (9.78), total dry matter accumulation (19.69 g plant-1) and yield parameters viz., pods per plant (57.90), seed yield (14.44 q ha-1) and haulm yield (23.17q ha-1) and it was on par with application of Phosphorus at 62.5 kg ha-1 applied through poultry manure + PSB at 10 kg ha-1. Whereas, lower plant height (39.76 cm), number of branches per plant (7.03), and total dry matter accumulation (13.74 g plant-1) and yield parameters viz., pods per plant (43.92), seed yield (10.40 q ha-1) and haulm yield (16.24 q ha-1) were recorded with application of Phosphorus at 62.5 kg ha-1 applied through Pongamia cake. Higher net returns and B:C (Rs.70906 ha-1 and 2.78) where recorded with application of Phosphorus at 62.5 kg ha-1 applied through poultry manure + PSB at 10 kg ha-1 and lower net returns and B:C (Rs. 27732 ha-1 and 1.50) were recorded with application of Phosphorus at 62.5 kg ha-1 applied through Pongamia cake.
