Abstract
An agronomic investigation was conducted at Department of Agronomy, College of Agriculture, Latur with a view to assess the effect of different fertilizer levels and biofertilizers on growth and yield summer greengram. The experimental field was levelled and well drained. The experiment was laid out in a Factorial Randomized Block Design with 9 treatment combinations, which includes three fertilizer levels and three biofertilizers. The treatments are 50 per cent RDF (F1), 75 per cent RDF (F2), 100 per cent RDF (F3), alone seed inoculation of Rhizobium (B1), alone seed inoculation of PSB (B2) and dual seed inoculation of Rhizobium + PSB (B3). The application of 100 per cent RDF recorded significantly higher growth parameters viz., plant height, total dry matter, number of functional leaves, leaf area, number of nodules and yield and yield attributing parameters viz., pod yield plant-1, grain yield kg ha-1, number of grains plant-1, Test weight (1000 seeds), grain yield kg ha-1 and straw yield kg ha-1. The dual seed inoculation of Rhizobium + PSB recorded maximum value of the above mentioned all growth parameters as well as yield and yield attributes followed by alone seed inoculation of PSB.
