Abstract
A field experiment was conducted during Kharif, 2022 on sandy loams oils at Indian Institute of oilseed research, Hyderabad to study the effect of nutrient management practices in finger millet. The results revealed that at panicle initiation and harvest stages of finger millet, the activity of urease, dehydrogenase and phosphatase was found highest with application of NPK + 0.2% B + FYM @ 2t ha-1 (N applied in 3 splits (T8)) and this was on par with STB (NPK) + FYM @ 2t ha-1 (N applied in 3 splits (T6)), NPK + 0.2% B (N applied in 2 splits (T7)), STB (NPK) (N applied in 2 splits (T5)) and RDF (N applied in 3 splits (T4)) and lowest was found in control.
