Effect of nano fertilizer on growth and yield in wheat (Triticum aestivum L.) under Dehradun region variety HD-2967

One of the key factors influencing the production of the wheat crop is the control of nutrients. The extensive use and poor effectiveness of current fertilizer management techniques have an effect on the financial and environmental costs of crop production. Thanks to its special characteristics of smaller size, increased surface area, and reactivity, nano fertilizers can show to be an effective substitute for the current fertilizer management system. Studies have shown that both macro- and micronutrient nano formulations may effectively increase yield, improve nutrient usage efficiency, and save costs. Furthermore, the nano fertilizers work effectively to increase wheat's protein and chlorophyll contents while also reducing a variety of abiotic stresses. Biofortification is another possible application for nanofertilizers. The development of nano sensors and intelligent fertilizers is where nano fertilizers will go in the future. Nonetheless, there are several issues that must be resolved, such as commercialization and usage control.
