Abstract
A field experiment was carried out during rabi season of 2020-21 and 2021-22 on laomy sand soil to find out the effect of phosphorus management and liquid organic manures on growth and yield of chickpea (Cicer arientinum L.) at College of Agriculture, Lalsot in Dausa district of Rajasthan. Revealed that application of 25% RDP + 75% P through PROM recorded significantly higher plant height, branches/plant, dry matter accumulation and grain (1802 kg/ha), straw (3097 kg/ha) and biological yield (4898 kg/ha compared to other organic manure treatments. Further revealed that twice foliar sprays of 3% panchgavya at 30 and 50 DAS recorded the maximum improvement in most of the growth and yields of chickpea among all the liquid organic manures. The maximum grain (1767 kg/ha), straw (2977 kg/ha) and biological (4743 kg/ha) yield were recorded under in this treatment.
