Abstract
Field experiment was conducted at R.V.S.K.V.V. Campus- College of Horticulture, Mandsaur (M.P.) during 2020-2021. The investigation was carried out with eleven doses of inorganic and organic fertilizers i.e. recommended dose of N, P and K and FYM + vermicompost. Study revealed that 100% NPK RDF (60:50:30 kg ha-1) + 3 ton FYM + 2 ton vermicompost ha-1) resulted in highest plant height, number of branches, dry weight, leaf area index, leaf area duration, relative growth rate and crop growth rate at different growth stages, and number of racemes (125.3 plant-1), racemes length (19.8 cm), test weight (1.84 g), seed yield (17.27 q ha-1), harvesting index (34.3%) and benefit: cost ratio (1.54:1) as compared to without application of nutrients.
