A field experiment was conducted at research area, Nirwan University, Jaipur, Rajasthan during rabi seasons of 2023-24 to study the effect of weed management practices on productivity and profitability of Indian mustard (Brassica juncea L.). The experiment was conducted in RBD (randomized block design) with 9 treatments i.e. Pendimethalin 30 EC 750 g/ha (PE), Pendimethalin 30EC 750 g/ha (PE) + HW (40DAS), Oxyflurofen 23.5 EC 230 g/ha (PE), Oxyflurofen 23.5EC 230 g/ha (PE) + HW (40DAS), Quizalofop-p- ethyl 5 EC 60 g/ha (PoE), Clodinafop-p-ethyl 15 WP 60 g/ha (PoE), Straw mulch @ 7 t/ha, Two hand weeding at 30 and 60 DAS (weed free), Weedy check. Among the weed management treatments, growth and yield parameters of Indian mustard viz. plant height at harvest (195.7 cm), dry matter accumulation at harvest (646.8 g/m2), number of siliqua per plant (261.2), 1000 seed weight (4.48 g), seed yield (2.18 t/ha), stover yield (7.20 t/ha) and oil content (39.78%) were recorded highest with treatment Oxyflurofen 23.5EC 230 g/ha (PE) + HW (40DAS) except Weed free (Two HW at 30 and 60 DAS) which recorded highest growth and yield parameters. Economic analysis revealed that application of Oxyflurofen 23.5EC 230 g/ha (PE) + HW (40DAS) recorded highest gross and net returns.
