A field experiment entitled “Effect of Potassium and Zinc on growth and yield of Mustard (Brassica juncea L.)” was conducted during Rabi season of 2023-2024 at Crop Research Farm Department of Agronomy. The treatments consisted of 3 levels of Potassium 30, 40 and 50 kg/ha and 3 levels of Zinc 15, 20 and 25 kg/ha along with control (80-40-40 kg N-P-K/ha). T1: Potassium 30 kg/ha + Zinc 15kg/ha, T2: Potassium 30 kg/ha + Zinc 20 kg/ha, T3: Potassium 30 kg/ha + Zinc 25 kg/ha, T4: Potassium 40 kg/ha + Zinc 15 kg/ha, T5: Potassium 40 kg/ha + Zinc 20kg/ha, T6: Potassium 40 kg/ha + Zinc 25 kg/ha, T7: Potassium 50 kg/ha + Zinc 15 kg/ha, T8: Potassium 50 kg/ha + Zinc 20 kg/ha, T9: Potassium 50 kg/ha + Zinc 25 kg/ha, T10: Control (RDF). The experiment was laid out in a Randomized Block Design with ten treatments and replication thrice. Application of Potassium 50 kg/ha + Zinc 25 kg/ha (treatment nine) recorded highest plant height (197.30 cm), number of branches/plant (14.79), maximum plant dry weight (26.72 g), and yield attributes namely more number of siliqua/plant (208.75), seeds/siliqua (22.80),seed yield (2.56 t/ha) and stover yield (4.37 t/ha). The same treatment also recorded significant and maximum gross return (INR 148006.30/ha), net return (INR 104156.30/ha) and B: C ratio (2.38).
