Evaluation of pigeonpea + speciality corn and pigeonpea + parching sorghum intercropping systems

Abstract
The field experiment was conducted on the deep black soil of agricultural research station Badnapur. during kharif 2022 -2023 on pigeonpea variety BDN 2013-41 in RBD with 4 replications and 5 treatments it was observed that equivalent yield of pigeonpea were affected by different inter cropping systems among the treatments the yield of pigeonpea in pigeonpea + Baby corn is highest (2741 Kg/ha) followed by Pigeonpea + Parching sorghum (2201 kg / ha) Pigeonpea+ Soybean (2104kg/ha) Pigeon pea + Sweet corn (1969 kg /ha) and sole Pigeonpea (1899 kg/ha) Pigeon pea+ Baby corn (1:2) give highest monetary Net, Gross Return and B: C ratio.
