Gouri P, Prateek Kumar, Biswarup Mehera and Akhil Kumar M

A field experiment was conducted during Rabi season of 2023-2024 at Crop Research Farm, Department of Agronomy, Naini Agricultural Institute, Sam Higginbottom University of Agriculture, Technology and Sciences, Prayagraj to analyze the “Effect of Sulphur and Nano urea on growth and yield of Indian Mustard”. In terms of soil reactivity Ph (7.3), low in organic carbon (0.72%), available N (175.43 kg/ha), available P (26.56 kg/ha) and available K (235.33 kg/ha). The treatments consisted of three levels of Sulphur (20, 25 and 30 kg/ha) and 3 levels of nano urea (2 ml/l, 3 ml/l and 4 ml/l) along with recommended doses of fertilizer and a control (80-40-40 kg N-P-K/ha). The experiment was laid out in a Randomized Block Design with 10 treatments and replication thrice. The results revealed that the significantly higher plant height (175.07cm), higher plant dry weight (27.17 g), higher test weight (5.73 g), higher seed yield (2.31 t/ha), and higher stover yield (3.38 t/ha) were recorded in treatment 9 with the application of Sulphur 30 kg/ha along with the foliar spray of Nano urea at 4 ml/litre.
