Advancements and challenges in sustainable agriculture: A comprehensive review

Sustainable agriculture has become an important solution for challenges like modern food system, environmental degradation, food insecurity and rural poverty. In this review, there is comprehensive study of recent advancements and challenges in sustainable agriculture. This paper also examines innovative strategies like agroecology, organic farming, precision agriculture and conservation agriculture and their role in environment sustainability, biodiversity conservation and socio-economic development. Furthermore, this paper also discusses the prospect of sustainable agriculture for mitigating change of climate, enhance security in food and promotes adaptable livelihood to the farmers. It has many benefits but there are also some drawbacks like policy barriers, lack of financial incentives and knowledge gaps. So, this review paper aims to update policy makers or researchers about an importance of sustainable agriculture in creating a more resilient and equitable food system through future directions. This review paper also include case studies which proves that sustainable agriculture is beneficial for our environment and is a suitable approach for meeting the needs of increasing population.
