Abstract
The current study “Influence of Rhizobium with FYM on yield and yield attributes of field pea (Pisum sativum L.) under the grid region of Madhya Pradesh” was carried out in the Rabi season of 2023 in CRC-3 of the School of Agriculture, ITM University, Gwalior. Three replications and seven treatments viz. Control, 100% RDF, 75% RDF + Rhizobium, 50% RDF + 50% FYM, 100% RDF + Rhizobium, 100% FYM + Rhizobium, and 50% RDF + Rhizobium + 50% FYM were included in the randomised block design of the experiment. The soil in the field was a sandy clay loam.T7, 50% RDF + Rhizobium + 50% FYM, had the highest number of pods per plant, maximum pod length (in cm), maximum number of grains per pod, test weight, grain (kg ha-1), straw yield (kg ha-1), biological yield (kg ha-1), and harvest index (%) and the maximum available nitrogen (kg ha-1), available phosphorus (kg ha-1) and available Potassium (kg ha-1) were found at T7, 50% RDF + Rhizobium + 50% FYM. Therefore, it can be derived from the results that applying 50% RDF + Rhizobium + 50% FYM is advised for the commercial production of Pisum sativum L. As a result, using this combination will yield good results.
