Abstract
A field experiment was conducted during Kharif, 2020 at Institute of Rice Research, Rajendranagar, Hyderabad in Telangana state. The experiment was laid out in split plot design with consisting of four sowing dates in main plots i.e June 2nd week, July 1st week, July 3rd week and August 1st week and 4 pre released rice cultures KPS 2874, JGL 27356, RNR 21278, RNR 29325 and check variety RNR 15048. Grain yield was significantly influenced by dates of sowing and pre released cultures. Among the dates of sowing significantly higher grain yield was recorded with D2: July 1st week (6539) followed by D3: July 3rd week (5904) and was at par with D1: June 2nd week (5873). Significantly least grain yield was recorded with D4: August 1st week (4810). Among the Pre released cultures significantly higher grain yield was recorded with RNR 29325 (6646) followed by RNR15048 (5701) and it was at par with KPS 2874 (5685), RNR 21278 (5645) and JGL 27356 (5231).
