A field experiment was conducted to study the effect of agro-input management practices on productivity and profitability of flax and dual-purpose linseed (Linum usitatissimum L.) at the Instructional-cum Research Farm, IGKV, Raipur (C. G.) during rabi 2021-22 & 2022-23 and the results obtained are discussed here on the basis of two years mean data. The recommended dose of fertilizer was taken 60:30:30 N, P2O5 and K2O kg ha-1, respectively. The experiment was laid out in split-split plot design with two replications. The experiment consisted treatments of four varieties viz. V1: RLC-148, V2: JLS-95, V3: JRF-2 and V4: RLC-92, three spacing viz., S1: 15 cm, S2: 22.5 cm, S3: 30 cm and three levels of nitrogen viz., N1: 100% N, N2: 150% N, N3: 200% N. Data revealed that the highest value of seed yield (19.40 q ha-1) were recorded with variety JLS-95 (V2), spacing 30 cm (S3) and 200% N (N3). However highest stover yield (27.13 q ha-1), gross return (2,79,746 Rs. ha-1), net return (2,26,444 Rs. ha-1) and B:C ratio (4.24) was recorded with V3 (JRF-2) along with treatment N3 (200% N) and S3: 30 cm followed by V1: RLC-148 and V4: RLC-92.
