A field investigation entitled, “Growth, yield and economics of okra (Abelmoschus esculentus L.) as influenced by foliar sprays of nano fertilizer” was conducted during summer season of the year 2023 at the Department of Agronomy, College of Agriculture, Dapoli, Dist. Ratnagiri (M.S). The present study is an innovative attempt to investigate in detail the effects of nano sources and concentrations of synthesized nano urea formulation on the growth, yield and economics of okra. The experiment was laid out in split plot design with 12 treatment combinations and replicated thrice. The main plot consisted of three nano urea sources (N1 - Market product nano urea, N2 - Synthesized nano urea and N3 - Synthesized nano chitosan conjugate) while the sub plot comprised of four concentrations (C1 – 0 ppm, C2 – 40 ppm, C3 – 80 ppm, C4 -120 ppm). Across all the nano urea sources and variable concentrations the combination of synthesized nano chitosan conjugate formulation with @ 120 ppm concentration treatment exhibited the highest growth, yield and economics followed by synthesized nano urea formulation with @ 120 ppm concentration. Among the nano urea sources, the synthesized nano chitosan conjugate formulation exhibited better results with increase in the concentrations from 0 to 120 ppm in all growth and yield parameters.
