Response of different nutrient management practices on growth and fodder yield of berseem (Trifolium alexandrinum L.) at various cutting stages author(s) Ritika, Deepak Bawa and Mohinder Lal
abstract An experiment was conducted during winter season of 2021-22 on berseem (BL 10) crop. The experiment comprised of 12 treatments viz . T1 (Control), T2 (100% RDF), T3 ( FYM 17 tonnes ha-1 ), T4 (VC 1.3 tonnes ha-1 ), T5 (PM 3 tonnes ha-1 ), T6 (Rhizobium trifolii + PSB (seed inoculation), T7 (75% RDF + FYM 11 tonnes ha-1 ), T8 (75% RDF + VC 1 tonnes ha-1 ), T9 ( 75% RDF + PM 2.0 tonnes ha-1 ), T10 ( 75% RDF + FYM 5 tonnes ha-1 + PM 2.5 tonnes ha-1 ), T11 ( 75% RDF + VC 1.2 tonnes ha-1 + Rhizobium trifolii + PSB (seed inoculation), T12 (75% RDF + FYM 5 tonnes ha-1 + VC 1 tonnes ha-1 + Rhizobium trifolii + PSB (seed Inoculation). Randomized Block Design was used with three replications. The results revealed that the significantly highest plant height (cm), number of shoots per m2 , number of plant population per m2 , leaf: stem ratio and green fodder yield (q ha-1 ) were observed with the application of treatment ( 75% RDF + FYM 5 tonnes ha-1 + VC 1.0 tonnes ha-1 + Rhizobium trifolii + PSB (seed Inoculation) fallowed by ( 75% RDF + VC 1.2 tonnes ha-1 + Rhizobium trifolii + PSB (seed inoculation).
